Brass is a copper-zinc alloy. For every 10% increase in zinc content, hardness increases by approximately 20%, but conductivity decreases by 15%. H62 brass contains 60.5%~63.5% copper with good mechanical properties and machinability.
Product Advantages
⚡ Excellent Electrical and Thermal Conductivity
T2 red copper conductivity ≥100% IACS, thermal conductivity approximately 391W/(m·K), ideal material for power transmission and heat exchange. Oxygen-free copper TU1 can reach 101% IACS.
🔄 Superior Processing Performance
Both red copper and brass have excellent cold and hot working performance, suitable for stamping, drawing, bending, deep drawing, welding, and brazing. H70 brass has excellent deep drawing performance, making it the preferred material for cartridge case manufacturing.
🛡️ Good Corrosion Resistance
Red copper has good corrosion resistance in freshwater, seawater, and atmospheric environments. Adding tin, aluminum, and other elements to brass can further enhance corrosion resistance; HSn62-1 is suitable for marine environments.
💪 High Strength and Wear Resistance
Brass tensile strength is 2~3 times that of red copper, with high hardness and good wear resistance, suitable for machinery parts and wear-resistant components.
🎨 Attractive Decorative Appearance
Brass color ranges from golden yellow to pale yellow, while red copper is rose red; both have good decorative effects, widely used in architectural decoration, crafts, and medals.
♻️ 100% Recyclable
Copper and copper alloys can be recycled infinitely with almost identical performance to new copper, conforming to green environmental concepts.
